Aims and Objectives:
The motto of the School “Towards truth and Charity embodies the spiritual and moral principles of our formation VIZ: Love of God and one’s brothers and sisters together with an unrelenting search for truth, in all the circumstances of one’s life.

With a view to fostering life in all its fullness, the school imparts an integral formation to its students. This includes the all round development of the student’s personality, the capacity to integrate oneself into one’s society and nation and the willingness to accept one’s responsibility to one’s brothers and sisters, especially the less privileged.
 
History:
Nazareth Convent High School was founded by Mother Mary of the Passion on July 16, 1875. It was intended to meet the educational needs of the children of European settlers. Though it was a residential school and remained so until the eighties, Nazareth had from its inception admitted local students as well. Today it has a sizable number of day students while the number of residential students have remained more or less stable at 150.
